FASE 1
WAKING UP
The wind brushes across the surface of the harbour, carrying with it the scents of salt, earth and new winds. At the boundary between the city and the sea, Calavento Eating Club emerges a place that cannot be defined simply as a restaurant, but rather as a contemporary gesture facing the Mediterranean.
Everything at Calavento seems to be in motion: the light filtering in from the water, the shadows moving across the space, the distant sound of masts gently tapping. The cuisine becomes an interpretation of its surroundings; seafood, textures, temperatures and colours that engage in dialogue with the landscape without imitating it.

SPACE
At Calavento, the interior design is not simply a container for the space, but a conceptual extension of the harbour landscape. The project is built around an idea of constant movement, inspired by the wind and the silent dynamics of the Mediterranean Sea. The interior design is articulated through fluid lines and gentle pathways that guide the eye and the body through the space. There are no abrupt divisions; transitions between areas, levels and perspectives unfold in an almost organic way, evoking the way the wind shapes surfaces or how water slowly transforms the coastline.

PHILOSOPHY
At Calavento, overlooking the sea in Alicante, we believe a restaurant is more than just a place to eat. It is a space to feel, to observe, where time takes on a different rhythm. A place where the sea, the wind and the city meet. We believe in movement. In the wind that transforms the landscape without leaving a visible trace. In the light that changes over the water with every passing hour. In cuisine as a living gesture, constantly evolving. Calavento is born from this idea: everything flows. The architecture flows, never imposing itself, but opening towards the horizon. The materials flow wood, stone, salt engaging in dialogue with the harbour and the passage of time. The light flows through the space, transforming it throughout the day.
We believe in the Mediterranean as our origin. In its produce, its rhythm, and its way of understanding the table as an act of coming together. Our cuisine begins with what is close, with what is essential, while allowing itself to explore new ways of expressing it. We believe in experience as something that cannot be fixed. Every visit is different. Every dish is a moment. Every sunset over the harbour is unrepeatable. This is our manifesto: to create a place where the landscape, architecture and cuisine breathe as one. A place to pause. To look out to sea. To let the wind the same wind that gives Calavento its name set the rhythm of everything that happens within.
